Started my blind playthrough of Chicory today, it's been really fun! I don't know why but using the paint brush as the cursor and coloring in levels feels so natural, the game wants me to color in the world and gives me a limited color palette but it teaches me how to utilize limited colors to make something pretty. Since your cursor is the brush in-game you can just draw on anything whenever you want to and it feels so great drawing in this way, decorating the world is fun, I think I like painting.

I actually get so into the groove of painting rooms that I forget how some of them look when I leave them for a while. in the beginning I painted everything one color and eventually learned to use other colors, coming back to those rooms, it gave me a feeling like opening an old sketchbook, especially from maybe when you were younger, and seeing all the art you may have forgotten youn made, like crude doodles or one-off sketches of critters. Like opening an old coloring book you used and seeing how you barely stayed in the lines, and used all kinds of random colors. There's just something nice about looking at both your old and new work and seeing how you may have developed a unique style or trend in making your art.

I like art a lot, I never want to stop drawing.

To be honest it was kind of like watching someone else paint, my hand was on the mouse, but the strokes with the brush felt like they came from some inner self, a little beacon of creativity that doesn't usually get the full freedom to express themselves. I think they needed this kind of outing, to just draw and draw for hours without growing tired... But now my arm is very tired lol

There were NPCs that asked us to draw some textures for em, don't think I actually took many screenshots, but I do have this one Holey that I'm proud of

I like the story a lot so far, don't wanna touch on much in-case you may want to play it as blind as me, but it feels really well-crafted and I appreciate the passion that went into this game! 💖

Btw we drew :3 absolutely everywhere lol, I think maybe when we're finished we'll upload like a compilation of the whole map, that'd be neat.

Excited to continue playing later, just stopped a lil bit into Ch4 after some things happened (ooo scary spoilers). Will definitely take more screenshots
